ĐỨC ĐẠI LÃO HÒA THƯỢNG THÍCH HUYỀN TÔN

Bờ tây cách trở dặm trùng khơi,
Nhận đóa hoa tâm rụng giữa đời.
Chín chín xuân thu ngời giới đức,
Trăm năm thạch trụ rạng nghìn nơi.
Lăng Nghiêm hiển mật soi bờ giác,
Thiên Ấn nhuần kinh tiếp cội nguồn.
Hải ngoại chuông ngân vang tỉnh thức,
Melbourne mây phủ áng chiều buông.
Thuận lẽ vô thường buông tứ đại,
Thảnh thơi sen ngát cảnh Đâu Suất.
Tăng già bản thể gương hòa hợp,
Tuệ mạng truyền trao tỏ nhật nguyệt.
Từ xứ Hoa Kỳ dâng nén thảo,
Tấc lòng kính ngưỡng vọng đài sen.
Bóng người tuy khuất ngời trang sử,
Tiếp nối đường tu rạng đuốc thiền.
Nam mô Tiếp Dẫn Đạo Sư A Di Đà Phật.

IN RESPECTFUL AND SOLEMN FAREWELL TO
MOST VENERABLE ELDER THÍCH HUYỀN TÔN
(1928 – 2026)
Across vast oceans from the western shore,
I hear the floral petals fall to earth once more.
Ninety-nine springs adorned with precepts pure,
A century’s pillar shining ever sure.
Śūraṅgama and Esoteric truths illume the shore of peace,
From Thiên Ấn’s sacred stream, deep ancestral roots increase.
In lands afar, awakened bells resound and softly chime,
As Melbourne skies drape clouds across the twilight of time.
Yielding to impermanence, the four elements release,
At ease in Tuṣita’s heaven amid lotus scents of peace.
The core of the Saṅgha shines—a mirror of harmony bright,
The transmission of wisdom’s lamp outshining solar light.
From America afar, a humble incense stick we offer high,
With utmost reverence gazing toward the lotus throne in the sky.
Though the venerable presence departs, historic pages glow,
Following the sacred path, the torch of Dhyāna continues to bestow.
Namo Amitābha Buddha, the Guiding Master.
Namo Most Venerable Elder Thích Huyền Tôn, may Your Enlightened Spirit compassionately witness and accept.
